Release Day TTC

Released “Together This Christmas” today. Getting such a warm positive input from friends and family. I panicked this morning a bit when I listened to the mix on Spotify for the first time. The mix was off and did not sound like the version I mastered. Come to find that Spotify puts EQ and other things on their selections. In addition, I was listening on small Google Home speakers which I love but have no real bass presence. I spent the day analyzing the mix on different streaming services and different devices. Ultimately, I decided that most people will enjoy the mix as is. It sounds great on a phone and amazing in the car. The biggest win here is that regardless of any audio engineer scrutiny, this is the first thing I have released in 7 years and everyone seems to love it. I am very thankful.
